It also offers AI-powered features like auto-captions and avatar generators, although some are limited to Pro users. Subscriptions start at $9.99/month, but the free version gives you more than enough to start producing solid video content.
Adobe Premiere Rush is another solid pick, especially if you’re already in the Adobe ecosystem. It’s designed for fast editing on the go, so it’s perfect for quick content or last-minute promos.
For web-based editing, Clipchamp stood out to me. It’s super accessible (you can edit directly in your browser), and even the free version supports 1080p exports.
And for Mac users, iMovie is still a great go-to. It’s simple, free and great for basic edits, though it only exports in a 16:9 widescreen format.
Even if you’re not good at writing scripts, but you have some good ideas, AI comes in handy, generating scripts, captions, and even full voiceovers for you. Just prompt it right!
The moral of the story is, you don’t need fancy equipment. Especially because TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube shorts favor authentic, relatable content. You don’t need to try too hard!
